The instrument
A degree ring, sixteen zones, thirty-two doors
The chakra is the Acharya's drawing instrument: a protractor marked every degree, sixteen zones of 22.5°, the 32 entrance padas on the outer ring, and the 45 devtas of the Paramasayika grid, laid over your own walls.
1 Trace the outline
Your plan, to the outside face of the walls
Upload or photograph the plan. Crop, straighten and trace the outline. Type one wall length and every zone is measured in square feet, the way the Acharya reads a map.
2 The centre
Find the brahmasthan
The centre is suggested at the outline's centre of gravity. Drag it if the Acharya would. Every zone, every pada and every devta is measured from this one point.
3 The main door
The door you enter by
Tap the main door. The door reading axis is drawn from the gate, through the centre, to the far side of the ring, exactly as the Acharya draws it on his sheets.
4 Stand at the door
Point the phone in. Lock North.
The compass reads the bearing of the plan as you face into the house. True heading, declination corrected, with a manual dial when the phone is still. The house turns to its real bearing.
5 Sixteen zones
Sixteen zones, one reading
North to NNW, each zone 22.5°. Every wedge rises to the area it holds and deepens with it: pale where the house is cut, deep maroon where it is extended. The favourable entrances glow gold on the pada ring.
6 Devta
Forty-five devtas, eighty-one padas
The Paramasayika grid lays the devtas over the plan, and the yantra above the centre is the chakra's own mandala. Both are indicative until the Acharya confirms his layout.

Two pages, in his format
Page one is the full-grid sheet: the plan inside the protractor, the door axis, the title block with the bearing and the date. Page two carries the bar graph and the zone table. Shared as an image or a PDF, in curd and maroon.
